No more Bouncy Rory (Blog Tour)

My daughter loves her booster seat, but I hate it. You see when I am turning in rush hour traffic, I usually hear "Mommy, Mommy, I fell over." Or the obligatory "Whoa!"

Thank goodness for Seat snug. I am sure that my daughter enjoys sloshing from side to side in the car, but I don't enjoy seeing her do it. God forbid we are in an accident, because I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if she was injured do to a booster seat malfunction. I was skeptical at first, but the seat snug works like a charm. After a week or so using this product I began to think what took them so long to create this wonderful invention?

My daughter is beginning to miss her bouncy, jostling carseat. I guess I am going to have to spring for an amusement ride ticket.

Please God!!!!

Today I cried. I cried because I never thought it would happen in my lifetime. A black man honestly and truly has the opportunity to become the president of the United States of America. I have been grappling with this reality, and today I truly know what it means.

It means that I can tell my daughter that she can be anything and truly mean it. It makes me wish I hadn't been reckless in my youth. That way I could run too :). I am so proud and happy I could burst. God bless the Obama's and God bless America.
